Community Service
We are proud to share a few of the Greater Milwaukee Chapter Community Service and Involvement drives
Teddy Bear Patrol
Members donated 50 various stuffed animals for emergency personnel to give someone in need during emergencies. Donations were given to local Police and Fire Departments
Hunger Task Force - Peanut Butter Drive
Chapter members donated jars of peanut butter to donate to the Milwaukee Hunger Taskforce
Milwaukee Riverkeeper Spring Cleanup
In April, community members joined together to clean up the local riverbeds throughout Milwaukee County
Stamp Out Hunger
A list of Wisconsin Food Banks is available through the National Association of Letter Carriers. Chapter members are encouraged to donate and give to their local food banks
MPS Clothing Drive
Chapter members donated clothing for the Milwaukee Public School Clothing drive
School Supply Drive
In partnership with Milwaukee Public Schools, the Greater Milwaukee Chapter donated school supplies
Habitat for Humanity at German Fest and Restore
Several chapter members volunteered for the Habitat for Humanity of Washington & Dodge Counties. Opportunities as booth volunteers at the annual German Fest festival in West Bend were also made available
Breast Cancer Awareness
Greater Milwaukee Chapter participated in a breast cancer walk around Lake Geneva to bring awareness and donated to The Healing Haven of Wisconsin in Pewaukee, WI
House of Peace Holiday Food Boxes
Chapter members donated enough food to make 11 holiday food boxed for local families in need. The gift boxes included all essentials to make a holiday meal. Donations were give to Capuchin Community Services
Book Ahead
Greater Milwaukee Chapter members collected children's book and monetary donations for the Book Ahead program in Waukesha County
